On the evening of December 9, the opening matches of Anhui DJN Optronics' inaugural badminton league got underway at Minglu Badminton Hall. The women's singles and men's singles events took the lead, with head-to-head matchups producing several qualifiers for the main draw on the very first night.

7:00 p.m. Match: Ren Zhijun (B) defeated Zhang Mengde (A) 15–11, 15–5, advancing with a point differential of +14. Zhang Mengde’s status remains pending.
8:00 p.m. Match: Zhou Qubo (C) beat Tang Zhongnan (D) 15–9, 15–5, advancing with a point differential of +16. Tang Zhongnan’s status remains pending.
8:30 p.m. Match: Yang De'an (F) shut out Xu Yanbo (E) 15–2, 15–0, advancing with a point differential of +28. Xu Yanbo was eliminated early due to a point differential of -28.

On December 10, the remaining three men's singles matchups — Ren Jinpeng vs. Zhang Yao, Xu Wenhao vs. Zhao Qing, and Peng Zhongzheng vs. Zhao Gang — will continue. Ultimately, eight main-draw spots will be determined from six match winners and the two best-performing defeated players.
The first women's singles matchup began at 7:30 p.m., with Suo Puhong (Code A) facing Li Feng (Code B).
The match followed a best-of-three format. Suo Puhong delivered an impressive performance, taking the first game comfortably at 15–6 before sealing the match with a 15–10 win in the second game. With a 2–0 victory and a point differential of +14, she secured a direct spot in the main draw.
Li Feng is currently pending qualification and will need to wait until the remaining matches conclude before competing with other defeated players for a possible alternate spot.

On December 10, two more women's singles matchups will take place: Li Zilin (C) vs. Yan Fang (D) at 7:10 p.m., and Zhou Zixin (E) vs. Ding Diandian (F) at 8:10 p.m. The winners will advance directly, while the defeated players will compete for alternate qualification spots.
